Listing information: if you list a property, the details, photos, pricing, and contact information you provide for that listing.

Usage and location data: searches you run, properties you save, and — if you allow it — an approximate location used to show nearby listings.

We use your information to operate the marketplace: creating and securing your account, showing and moderating listings, connecting tenants/buyers with landlords/agents, sending account-related emails (like email verification and password resets) and SMS codes, and improving the site. We don't sell your personal information.

We use cookies for core site functionality (like keeping you signed in), and — only with your consent — for analytics and marketing. You can review and change your cookie preferences at any time from the "Cookie Preferences" link in the site footer.

We work with a small number of service providers to run PezaNyumba: Google (sign-in), Resend (transactional email), Africa's Talking (SMS verification), Cloudinary (image hosting), and Google Maps (location search and maps). Each only receives the information it needs to perform its function.

When you contact a property owner or agent, the message and contact details you provide are shared with them so they can respond. Property listing contact details are visible to signed-in users viewing that listing.

We keep your account and listing information for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for legal, security, and record-keeping purposes. You can request that we delete your account and associated data at any time.

You can update your account details from your profile, manage cookie preferences from the footer, and unsubscribe from non-essential emails. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, contact us through the options described below.
